Intero is building an API which will allow developers to create applications which integrate across different brands of cardio machines, wearables, and sensors. We aim to create an ecosystem in which athletes can interact and compete regardless of the type of machine, wearable, or sensor they are using. Intero is producing written and video tutorials to assist developers in using the API; the API and tutorials are publicly available on Intero’s GitHub. The API currently supports Concept2’s rowing, ski, and bike ergs.
